How can Educators Implement Technology in their Curriculum Practices?
When technology is integrated into the curriciulum that we are teaching, we are allowing students to expand their learning. Throughout this section of my research, I tried to find techniques that allow for educators to ensure that they are meeting their requirements through delivering curriciular content, meaning that I looked for ways that technology can help educators with their planning. Technology can also be very useful in differentiating the learning that is taking place among students and becomes much more hidden. I also looked at how technology can be used to enhance a curriciular outcome, where students can learn an outcome or objective through technology.
How can Educators Implement Technology in their Instructional Practices?
Technology allows for the instructional focus to shift away from the teacher and is more student directed and driven. This can be challenging for educators who are comfortable with standing at the front of the classroom to deliver content. However, having students learn content through technology develops responsibility within the student to take charge of their learning and it also increases student engagement. I have included a few technological practices that teachers can use to help with their instruction and how content can be delivered through multiple ways.
How can Educators Implement Technology in their Assessment Practices?
There are many different technological assessment practices that educators can use, and many of them are very similar. In order to see the value in all of the different techniques, I tried out a few different applications. Each application brings something different for educators to use, and can be very valuable for across disciplines.
